LOGISTICIAN - SOUTH AFRICANFull job descriptionWorking as a logisticianMSF recruits for the following logistics roles:Supply logisticians provide support through management of supply chain, warehouse management, work alongside third party suppliers as well as the supervision and training of national staff.Technical logistician provides technical logistical guidance to the mission through maintenance of vehicles and equipment, organising transport of goods and staff, making sure means of communication is available as well as managing local staff.Construction logistician manages construction/rehabilitation projects by designing the project, defining all resources required (e.g. labour, budget and materials) as well as supervising the progress of the construction. RequirementsRelevant degreeFive years of proven professional experience in logistics-related rolesExperience in supervising and managing others in a logistics capacityAvailable for a minimum of nine monthsWillingness to work in unstable areasAdaptable and able to work in a multicultural teamFlexible and able to manage stressRelevant work experience in contexts similar to where MSF works (armed conflicts, disasters, public health emergencies or situations of healthcare exclusion)
