Logistics and Scheduling Coordinator - WellingtonFull job descriptionConstantia Kunsmis, part of the TWK Group, has the following vacancy available: Logistics and Scheduling Coordinator at Wellington, Western Cape.Responsibilities and DutiesScheduling of all raw materialsReceiving of all raw materialsCommunicate with clients and marketing to format scheduling planCommunicate the scheduling plan to production daily for production purposesScheduling and archiving of all related documentationKnowledge of GHS System (Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals)Responsible for co-ordinating and planning of transport/logistics servicesEnsuring that all deliveries are done in the most cost-effective way and achieving the highest possible level of customer serviceCommunicate estimated time of deliveries timeously to customersCompile daily report on orders processedCheck orders delivered with no feedback and follow up with transportersEnsure outstanding feedback on loads completedResolve customer queries regarding in-transit damaged goodsReport missing rates and complete rate request forms accuratelyAccountable to ensure returns are scheduled and processed correctlyResponsible for follow up and resolution of incorrect dates on sales ordersManage planning and flexibility to do cross pollination planningWork effectively in a team to enhance team performanceProvide and receive constructive feedback to and from transporters and customers, reporting to OPS leadParticipate in planning sessionsBuild strong relationships with transportersCommunicate positively in OPS centre to align vehiclesWilling to work overtime when requiredQualifications and SkillsMatric / Grade 12Minimum of 3 years' experience in scheduling/logisticsExperience and qualifications in logistics or related industryComputer literate - be proficient in ExcelDriver's licenseAbility to work under pressureStrong communication skillsProblem solving skillsTeam playerThe company can expire jobs at any time at their own discretion.
