An Agri commodity company has a vacancy for a Logistics Assistant to provide administrative support role to the Execution and Finance Team. This position is based in UmhlangaDuties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Customer and Vendor KYC information
• Daily processing of customer & Vendor Sales contracts and Purchase orders and submission to Counterparties
• Pastel processing - All steps from capturing sales order, purchase order, inbound, Supplier Invoices and invoicing
• Ensuring creditor payments are timeously and correctly processed, reconciled and captured, which may include
• Vessel Outturn and Demurrage invoicing and Credit notes
• Receiving transporter invoices, updating required reports, towards processing for payment
• Reconciling of weight differences and necessary weight claims for transporters and clients per load, plus email correspondence for the same
• Processing all other creditors for Services, Commodity and Miscellaneous creditors
• Maintaining record of Creditors provisions
• Daily and Accurate Monitoring of accounts for Client & Vendors, which serves as a key part of operations
• Maintaining Logistics execution reports against contracts
• Daily Capturing of Bank statements
• Capturing & Reconciling a few General Finance / Office Administrative tasks items
• Maintain Filing of all Hard copy Document (creditors / supplier invoices, invoices, credit notes, contracts
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth process flow of all business processes.
• Training related to future development
• Ad hoc Relief of logistics Officer admin duties

• Intermediate to Advance computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Pastel experience (Advantage)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain (Advantage)
• Min 2 years work experience required
