Daily management of the effectiveness of the local planning, personal effectiveness and processes accuracy to deliver on time and in full to customers.
Perform daily loadmaster function for local logistics.
Attend to call in / collection customers
Receive and check in ATRs and redeliveries from fleet.
Assist Sales team with customer delivery queries.
Perform stock checks on local routes to avoid stock outs and credit notes before invoicing and route sheet.
Manage Fleet and ensure vehicles are repaired and serviced on time and in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.
Supervise local pickers
Limit over time and check logistics time sheets to ensure accuracy.
Perform daily check on back orders to ensure stock is available and they are delivered as soon as possible.
Perform accurate warehouse counts and ensure daily stock readiness.
Manage the alignment and effectiveness of the local logistics team Bidtrack reports and fuel card compliance.
Housekeeping logistics, front entrance / yard / parking area and verge.
Branch loss prevention and stock control
Analyse daily control sheet and note actions required for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role specifically with logistics, fleet management, staff management, stock control and warehousing.
Tertiary operations management qualification
A high school matric qualification
A good understanding of the importance of this role and the consistent accuracy required
