• Drives the consistent expectations, understanding and application of Logistical (trucking) processes to enable compliance with monthly, three monthly and annual targets
• Ensure compliance to operational weighbridge maintenance
• Ensure proper contractor management in area of responsibility
• Ensure proper quality control of external and internal sources fed into the plant
• Manage risk and safe execution of work as provided in the MHSA and other relevant legislative bodies
• Monitors the execution and maintenance of HSE safety systems and procedures in his area of responsibility to ensure compliance to legislation and operational procedures and execution of scheduled planned task observations
• Organize that SOP training be done and that subsequent PTOs and HRWs are conducted by all processing and contractor personnel
• Organizes and executes logistical processes inclusive of volumes, quality control and security
• Organizes resources for the logistics function to effectively operate
• Oversees the reconciliation and metal accounting processes

• Basic Coal Prep / Advanced Coal Prep / Grade 12 with Math and Science / Certificate in Mining, Engineering or Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• 5 years experience in a production environment
• 2 - 4 years experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Trucking / Plant Process Environment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Valid drivers license is essential
• In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness

• Coaching & Mentoring, S3 ORMP, Supervisory Development
• SAP
