Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently representing a leading logistics company based in the Western Cape, who is looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics activities of the company. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Ensure goods are delivered on time and in the most cost-effective manner
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve any logistics issues
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyze data and generate reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and logistics service providers

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics coordination
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
