My client is a leading company in the agriculture industry, committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring that their customers receive their orders on time, every time.They are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of Loads: Plan and schedule loads efficiently to meet customer demands.
- Transport Planning: Coordinate with transporters to book trucks, ensuring the best rates and truck availability.
- Customer/Supplier Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and effective execution of orders.
- Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations to ensure accurate records of transactions and shipments.
- SAP Utilization: Utilize SAP for tracking and managing logistics operations (SAP experience is advantageous).
- Data Management: Maintain and manage records using Excel, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
- Attributes: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work long hours when necessary.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with customers, suppliers, and transporters.
