Logistics Implementation Consultant (JHB & CPT Remote) Supply Chain/Logistics
Cape Town - Western Cape ~ Johannesburg - GautengENVIRONMENT:A dynamic Software Solutions Specialist & Consultancy based in Johannesburg is looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven Logistics Implementation Consultant. Your core focus will be to implement transport optimisation software, including business analysis and requirement specifications. The ideal candidate must have a BEng/BCom Degree in Industrial Engineering/Logistics from an accredited university with Project Management skills, and a thorough working knowledge of IT Operating Systems, Networking environments, NoSQL databases, MongoDB and tools such as MS Excel. Any working experience in transport optimisation will prove hugely beneficial.DUTIES:

• Responsible for implementing transport optimisation software, including business analysis and requirement specifications.
• Solution design, liaise with Software Developers, training and go-live duties.
• Preparation of documentation and SOPs.
• Configuration/Loading of Master Data into optimisation software.
• Software troubleshooting, process mapping and reengineering, support, project management and implementation auditing.

REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications

• BEng (Industrial Engineering), Logistics or BCom Logistics Degree (or similar) from an accredited university.

Experience/Skills -

• Project Management.
• Analytical skills to aid troubleshooting and analysing client requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and to work with a variety of people with varying skill levels.
• Must be self-motivated and keep track of all aspects of project work.
• Transport optimisation solution design experience an asset (relevant experience will be considered).
• Working experience in transport optimisation would be advantageous.
• Thorough working knowledge of IT Operating Systems, Networking environments, NoSQL databases, MongoDB and tools such as MS Excel.
