Northern Suburbs, Cape Town - Western Cape - South AfricaThe Logistics Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all logistics operations, including outbound and inbound deliveries, warehouse management, personnel supervision, and third-party coordination to ensure cost-effective and timely distribution.Essential Requirements:
- This role requires a minimum of 8 years' logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sectors
- A proven track record of managing high-volume, deadline-driven operations.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Pastel Accounting.
- Along with the ability to analyse and report on fleet mileage, fuel consumption, delivery performance, and stock movement.
- You must demonstrate strong planning, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, uphold strict health and safety protocols, and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Familiarity with HACCP and BRC standards is highly preferred.
- The role demands hands-on problem-solving, adaptability, and a meticulous approach to documentation, stock reconciliation, and fault-finding.
