Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards related to logistics and supply chain activities.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Manage budgets and forecasts for logistics operations.
- Resolve logistical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving.
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics operations and improving efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the logistics industry.
