A leading company in the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Kempton Park. • Plan, manage, and oversee logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards related to logistics and supply chain activities.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
• Manage budgets and forecasts for logistics operations.
• Resolve logistical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven track record of optimizing logistics operations and improving efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the logistics industry.
