The Coty Africa team is bringing our business of BEAUTY, to life in Africa xe2x80x93 localized and sustainable.Job PurposeThe role is mainly accountable for managing inbound shipments from Distribution Centrexe2x80x99s in Europe to our distributor partner in South Africa. The candidate will also collaborate with central operations and transportation teams on shipments to distributor partners across the African continent.Job RequirementsYour main areas of responsibility will include the following:xc2xb7 Manage inbound shipments from EU Distribution Centers to South Africaxc2xb7 Manage relationship with Logistics Service Providers in South Africa to ensure shipments delivered in a timely manner.xc2xb7 Manage end-to-end delivery solution for products being shipped from suppliers.xc2xb7 Implement and adhere to Global Transport standards related to processes and systems.xc2xb7 Validate customs entries in line with import regulations in South Africaxc2xb7 Maintain up to date customs duties database for all African countries.xc2xb7 Maintain monthly/quarterly customs duties cost forecasts.xc2xb7 Prepare monthly/quarter Customs Duties, Transportation and Warehouse forecast on anticipated costs for Supply Chain Finance teams.Education:xc2xb7 Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Supply Chain/LogisticsRequired experience:xc2xb7 3 to 5 years logistics experience (Importation, Customs clearance)xc2xb7 Good knowledge and understanding of import regulation in South Africaxc2xb7 Experience with importation into North, East and West Africa would be advantages.Technical Skills and Competencies:Good business and financial acumen and S&OP knowledgexc2xb7 Good planning and organisational skills, including prioritisation and time management.xc2xb7 Can effectively and efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, complex tasks and projects.xc2xb7 Analytical skills and attention to detailxc2xb7 Good problem-solving abilities.Customer centric approach and the ability to respond to customer needs.xc2xb7 Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with diverse stakeholders.xc2xb7 Good self-management, resilience and learning agility.xc2xb7 Able to work independently and as part of a team.xc2xb7 Good written and verbal communication skillsxc2xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced ExcelTravel n/aSeniority Level SkilledIndustry Wholesale & Retail Luxury and Beauty GoodsEmployment Type Full-timeBenefitso Competitive guaranteed TCTC packageo Company performance bonus based on global company performance.
