Long Distance Driver

Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Long Distance Driver to handle regular trips between our depot and Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and efficient deliveries twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport goods to and from Cape Town twice a week, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of travel, fuel usage, and delivery details. Ensure all cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded according to company procedures. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to address any issues or delays.
Qualifications:
Valid South African driver's license with a clean driving record. Valid PDP. Proven experience as a long-distance driver, preferably with experience on the Cape Town route. Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to handle paperwork accurately. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A professional and courteous demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Pay: R10000,00 - R12000,00 per month
