Radiographer / Clinical Applications Specialist
Job Description
The Clinical Applications Specialist / Radiographer is required to provide support and solutions on all clinical aspects of all products, from a user point of view, in terms of positioning, patient care, techniques, how to operate the machine, working of the machine ‘in the field’ etc.
§ Provide support and solutions on clinical aspects of the machine.
§ Train radiographers and other users on how to use the machine.
§ Create user friendly aids on how to understand the products.
§ Initiate and assist in trials involving products
§ Liaising with radiographers and other users at sites on product capabilities, issues experienced and suggestions made by users and providing feedback to management
§ Education and skills/experience:
§ Qualified Radiographer
§ A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a trauma environment
§ Knowledge of a Medical Environment
§ Knowledge of X-ray equipment and protocols
§ Training Skills
§ Must be willing to travel both locally and nationally
§ Fluency in English and either isiZulu, isiXhosa or isiSotho
§ Confident Speaking and Presentation skills
§ Written Communication skills
§ Own vehicle and valid / clear driver's licence
§ Born in South Africa / SA Citizen
§ Proficient on MS Office
§ Must be able to produce all education certificates and details of three references
§ Must provide up-to-date CV and last three salary slips at the time of application
§ Must have a clear criminal record and credit history
