Job Description


  • Support the monitoring of data management/monitoring and evaluation plans
  • Work with colleagues to enhance project goals and outputs.
  • Develop and maintain project information systems.
  • Develop and update project tools such as SOPs, technical guidelines, best practice documents and other documents as required.
  • Conduct training on project processes and activities.
  • Support development of M&E database
  • Standardize M&E tools and distribute best of breed tools to all implementing project teams.
  • Build and maintain internal data driven automations to enhance SI outputs.
  • Oversee, guide and quality check data working closely with the M&E provincial staff.
  • Build and maintain management reports/ dashboards (SQL, Visual Studio and PowerBI).
  • Ensure timely submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports by ADAPT Implementing partners/ programmes, to meet funder requirements.
  • Obtain corrections upon identification of data quality issues, within 1 week of submission of queries, or within RTC reporting deadlines for end-of-quarter months.
  • Respond to reasonable and relevant requests for data by ADAPT Implementing Partners, USAID, Department of Health and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct M&E site visits to ADAPT partners.
  • Design and present M&E-related training sessions for partners/programme streams.
  • Design and conduct data quality audits and follow up on implementation of audit recommendations by ADAPT partners/programmes on regular basis.
  • Build capacity to develop, manage and operationalize M&E systems and knowledge management
  • Training and mentorship of team members.
  • Attend to all staffing requirements and administration.
  • Manage the duties of team members and colleagues to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
  • Identify personnel barriers and present solutions to the project leadership.
  • Coach and train team members to ensure the acquisition of knowledge and skills required for professional project management.
  • Promote harmony, teamwork and sharing of information.
  • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and demonstrates effective self-management.
  • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback.
  • A post-graduate degree in social science/ Health/M&E/ Data Science/IT qualification
  • 5 years experience in a health or related field
  • 3-5 years related work experience in a management position
  • Experience in EVDS, IT or DOH Information Management Systems
  • Experience in automating tools, database creation and PowerBI
  • 5+ years experience in Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Proficiency in English
