All people on the Plant and Production (surface and underground)
Never hand over equipment that is inappropriately maintained
Never do a job without receiving authorisation in the form of a notification of a work order

BUSINESS PROCESSES:Work execution:
Apply fault-finding techniques, conduct root cause failure analysis and regular plant/surface and underground inspections
Maintain and repair mechanical parts, components, and equipment as well as low- and high-level electrical equipment
Comply with OHSA and MHSA standards, ensure that electrical installations comply with statutory regulations, conform to safety standards and planned maintenance system requirements
Complete breakdown work order, create notifications, provide feedback, and generate orders on the SAP system
Performing work in a safe and reliable manner ensuring the highest level of workmanship
Conduct regular plant/surface and underground inspections and report non-conformances and problems
Monitoring the operational conditions of machinery and equipment
Perform lock-out procedure on machines and/or equipment to prepare for maintenance
Carry out routine maintenance on production machines to ensure its smooth running
Maintaining, selecting, and establishing measurements with complex measuring equipment as well as tolerancing
Complete all relevant documentation
Perform the job as outlined in the Work Order and as per the detailed Task List
Capture history & complete the notification to the required standard
Confirm Work Order with the correct time and all details to the required standard
Provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on any task where there is a difference between the task instruction and the job requirements
Communicate if spares, equipment, or other factors were not available for job on the work order and to the Maintenance Supervisor
Generate Notifications from inspections and subsequent Notifications
Unplanned interventions
Perform isolation and issue lockout documents
Attend to breakdown quickly and safely
Capture all data related to the stoppage to aid in determining the root cause
Communicate ways of improving how the breakdown was handled to the Maintenance Supervisor
Rotables Management:
Change out item
Create PM order detailing item to be drawn from stock
Create reservation for rotable on PM Order
Create subsequent notification
Complete all fields on the "Damage" tag on the return item to rotable store
Physically transport damaged rotable to lay down area.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 / N3
Relevant Millwright Trade Certificate
Must have relevant years of experience as Millwright Artisan in a Mining environment
Skillsand Knowledge:
Chrome Plant knowledge
MHSA and OHSA
MV Certificate
Competency and understanding of pumps, conveyor belts, chair lifts, electrical rectification, decline winders, spirals etc
