Maintenance Assistant

Are you a Maintenance Assistant with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment? Someone with Matric, general electrical knowledge and welding experience? Someone with a valid drivers' license and your own transport?If you answered yes to all of the above and you are looking for a new opportunity, read on.Join this company, based in PORT ELIZABETH and assist the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery run to their maximum efficiency and output. This will include preventative maintenance, breakdown maintenance and scheduled maintenance.The minimum duties that will be expected of you will be:
- Attend to general machine maintenance
- Maintain and improve machinery
- Facility maintenance
- Scheduled machine maintenance
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
