To apply the planning principles at an operation level following the Work Management Process (WMP).Recruitment Description / Key AccountabilitiesSuccessful execution of overhaul/ maintenance program - plan vs actualWork Management Process (WMP) KPI's reportingSchedule compliance to Work Management Process (WMP)Accurate asset and sub-assembly life cycle dataOpen work order control as per agreed targetsTrain and coach fellow employees and learnersCompile monthly maintenance planning deviation reportsDiscuss progress, exception reports, follow-up actions at agreed ForumsDowntime per shift (Target vs actual)Runtime per shift (Target vs actual)Implementation of new technologies and methodologies as determine by Sasol Mining strategyMonitor and report on performance of new technologies and methodologiesEnsure current and updated task list for strategies and repetitive maintenance work adherenceParticipate in standard setting by Industry ForumsCompliance to governance Forums (standardisation Engineering User Group)Understand the planning role and apply planning principlesPerform SAP transactions (Plant Maintenance)Ensure activities within Engineering specific area of responsibility comply with applicable planning procedures and processesEnsure the statutory process is maintained and adhered toBe familiar with materials, services, financial and related work procedures and processesEvaluate and verify correctness of notification information and take corrective action on deviationsEnsure accurate and quality work order feedback informationOwnership role for the Work Management Process (WMP)Formal Education:Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English / Technical N3 with Englishand Relevant Trade NQF L4OrGrade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English / Technical N3 with Englishand Internal technical trainingOrGrade 12 with Mathematics, Science and English / Technical N3 with Englishand Engineering National DiplomaMinimum Experience:Five (5) Years Planning experience as Planner Assistant or PlannerLicense:Valid driver's licensesCompetencies:Openness to continuous learningAssertiveness/ decisiveness ability to express own feelings and convictions in a socially acceptable mannerSelf-discipline assumes ownership of accountabilitiesGoal/Achievement orientation sets and meet challenging goalsStrong affiliation to company valuesPositive attitude towards safety and safety policies and proceduresAnalytics: The systematic computational analysis of data or statisticsCompliance: Understanding the rules, regulations, sanctions and other statutory requirements, guidelines and instructions relating to governing Forums and organizations, both internally and externally.Critical reasoning: The action of critically thinking about something in a logical, sensible way and taking all factors into consideration.Problem Solving: Is a step-by-step process of defining a problem, searching for information, and testing a series of solutions until the problem is solved.
