Job Description
This client is a key player in South Africa's agricultural and food processing industry, specialising in the production and processing of oilseeds and protein-rich products. They focus on creating high-quality vegetable oils, oilcake, and animal feed products that support both the food and agricultural sectors. With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and quality, they play a vital role in the supply chain, ensuring high standards in safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.As the Maintenance Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities, including managing a team and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. You'll plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance tasks, handle inventory, and coordinate with external contractors. Additionally, you'll conduct inspections, provide technical support, and ensure smooth production operations across departments.Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum requirement: Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Diploma.
- Trade tested: Fitter, Millwright, or Mechanical.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Supervisory/Foreman role, and at least 5 years as an Artisan/Technician.
