Job Summary Role Overview:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all machinery and equipment in our production facility. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals and work closely with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Your expertise in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving will help ensure that our equipment operates at its peak performance while adhering to health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring the availability of skilled resources for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
• Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
• Maintaining all machinery to ensure its at working standards.
• Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
• Conducting regular inspections of the facilities, machinery and equipment to detect and resolve problems.
• Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment within the production facility.
• Implement and maintain a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to ensure the reliability and efficiency of all production equipment.
• Develop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules and ensure timely and effective repairs.
• Coordinate with production managers to minimize equipment downtime and disruptions to production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues quickly to avoid costly delays and downtime.
• Work closely with suppliers and contractors for the procurement of parts and services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, HACCP).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history.
• Continuously improve maintenance practices and reduce operational costs through innovative solutions and process improvements.
• Foster a safe and proactive maintenance environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry or similar fast-paced manufacturing environments.(Non Negotiable).
• GMR 2.1.
• Strong knowledge of food industry safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, GMP, HACCP) and food safety practices.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a maintenance team.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex mechanical, electrical, and automated issues.
• Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing machinery, conveyors, mixers, packaging lines, refrigeration systems, and automation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
