Minimum Requirements
Familiarity management principles and job card systems
Ability to manage a team larger than 30 employees
An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
A team player with leadership skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
Drivers' license & Own transport required
Grade 12
Red Seal Qualification (Millwright/Electrician)
Experience within the poultry industry would be beneficial
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a manager

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all electrical maintenance and repairs on site, including fault finding and preventative maintenance measures
Plan, delegate and coordinate service related procedures and systems and develop ways to streamline processes
Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
Manage schedules and deadlines (operations & staff)
Monitor inventory and planning the purchasing of new materials/supplies/parts with attention to budgetary constraints
Monitor costs and expenses of the services department to assist in budget preparation
Ensure that all site preparation is carried out at the highest standard
Ensure that all bio-security standards and procedures are strictly adhered to
Weekly review of all job cards/inspections and follow-up of unfinished items on job cards/inspections
Compliance with Health and Safety, working hand in hand with SHE Officer.
Candidate should be willing to work flexible hours and weekends as per scheduled
Compile in depth weekly and monthly reports for Operations Manager
* Attending to HR/IR matters (i.e. planning leave, time sheets, disciplinary measures, etc.)
