Maintenance Manager

Job Description
A prestigious 5-star Big 5 reserve nestled in the Waterberg region of Limpopo is currently in search of a skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in reserve and lodge maintenance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General maintenance tasks
- Vehicle maintenance
- Infrastructure maintenance, including buildings
- Plumbing
- Electrical work (single and three-phase)
- Solar installations
- Road maintenance and construction
- Water reticulation and pump maintenance
- Firefighting equipment upkeep
- Air conditioning and lodge fridge maintenance
- The successful candidate should be adaptable to a rural lifestyle and willing to work in a remote area.
- Valid RSA driver's license (PDP advantageous)
- Management experience in the following areas:
- Staff Management
- Fleet management, including Diesel/petrol
- Workshop management and stock control
- Administration within the department (MS Office)
- Effective communication skills
- Understanding the requirements of a high-end lodge and delivering quality service to guests
