Broad Purpose / Function:





Lead and drive Excellence in Maintenance to support the Site Operations through practical and effective application of maintenance philosophy. Driving innovative and cost-effective solutions to ensure best practices and compliance requirements are met to deliver high asset reliability.



Responsible for Planning and development of effective Planned Maintenance / co-ordinating and tracking the timeous completion of all Planned Maintenance schedules. Responsible for acting upon any deviation or areas of concern arising from PM Inspections.

Duties / Responsibilities:




Planned Maintenance (PM)




Responsible for the effective control of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and all engineering maintenance documentation.

Capture of assets for new machinery & equipment on MAXIMO System

Develop new PM schedules for all plant machinery & equipment.

Update PM Schedules with content and frequency.

Generate PM Schedules as well as Calibration Schedules

Co-ordinates the completion of PM Schedules.


o Responsible for ensuring that all PM Schedule feedback is captured on CMMS (MAXIMO) and ensures the integrity of the system.
o Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, controls, and safety systems.
Systematically defines, designs, develops, monitors, and refines an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes:
o Value-added preventive maintenance tasks

o Reviewing of maintenance tasks and data cleansing within the CMMS system
Analyzing breakdowns and implementing permanent solution

Completion of RCPS with the technical teams

Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems

Works closely with the Reliability Engineer to Monitor / Tracks and Develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures and issues that adversely affect manufacturing and packing operations. These include machine safety, efficiency, reliability, capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues. Data analysis techniques that can include:
Root-cause problem solving RCPS

Failure mode affective analysis FMECA

Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
Works with Operations to perform analyses of assets including:
Asset Utilization

Overall Equipment Effectiveness

Life cycle of the asset
Provides technical support to operations, maintenance management, facilities and technical personnel.

Ensure adequate spares for planned maintenance activities and compile maintenance spare kit.

Applies value analysis to repair/replace, repair/re-design, and make/buy decisions.

Provide monthly maintenance reports and highlight deviations

Actively participates in the identification and implementation of continuous improvements initiatives. Ensure wastages are minimized and Maintenance costs contained or improved.

Ad hoc Jobs




Responsible for raising job cards in MAXIMO System.

Improve spares & inventory management through CMMS

Breakdown Jobs




Responsible for loading breakdown job cards in MAXIMO System.

Compliance




Assists with ensuring that the Safety, Health and Environment aspects of the Technical Operations function is in compliance with:


o OHSAct & Regulations
o Kenvue Safety Policy

o Kenvue Worldwide Safety and Health Standards

o Applicable Safety Health and Environmental regulatory requirements.
Assists with ensuring compliance with quality standards and GMP regulations on all technical operations activities.

Assists with ensuring that Maintenance Operations SOP's and Work Instructions are updated and accurate

Assists with ensuring Quality compliance - Kenvue corporate and local procedures

General




Supports and assists with any work/activity that may be scheduled or unscheduled as instructed by Engineering Management and in doing so ensuring corporate and local compliance requirements are met.

Ensures that time keeping is accurately maintained and is a true reflection of actual work done.

Support Validation process with IQ, OQ and PQ tasks as assigned.

Contributes to the reduction of NCs (Non-Conformances), deviations and complaints. Ensure the integrity of the data captured in the CMMS is accurate and updated monthly Guarantee the order and cleanliness maintenance in responsibility. Ensures compliance with the internal site requirements as well as HR policies and procedures. E.g. working hours, personal hygiene, etc.

Conducts internal EHS/Quality /Housekeeping audits and ensures corrective action plans are initiated and closed out for area of responsibility
Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:




Education




Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Industrial)

Experience



0 - 2 years Maintenance or Engineering
