Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join a leading mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans for the mining site. • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure equipment and machinery are maintained in optimal condition.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Ensure the availability of necessary resources, such as spare parts and materials, for maintenance work.
• Monitor the effectiveness of maintenance programs and make improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance work.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Trade Test Certificate (Diesel Mech/Fitter/Boilermaking/HEME)
• 3 -5 years experience on planned maintenance systems in a supervisory level
• Maintenance planning and scheduling certificate
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
