• Development, update, and administration of best practices in planning and scheduling.

xc2xb7 Ensure alignment with other key elements/project stakeholders e.g., Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Projects and Subcontractors.xc2xb7 Assist with the development of the integrated project plan and schedules and align all schedules to the Project Operating Plan.xc2xb7 Keep records of machinery service history.xc2xb7 Guide and support teams to develop and maintain a fully integrated Project Master Schedule to monitor and control tasks, milestones, and deliverables.xc2xb7 Develop and create standard service job templates detailing individual job task, time requirement, manpower, tooling required and safety requirements.xc2xb7 Daily tracking of each job against the schedule.xc2xb7 Identify and notify the relevant parties when a service job falls behind schedulexc2xb7 General administration duties required within the department.xc2xb7 Ensure effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing of all operations or engineering related activities and allocate tasks to relevant departments.xc2xb7 Lead Implementation of upkeep Operations and Maintenance Management System.xc2xb7 Ensure plant and equipment inspections are being done, co-coordinated, documented and given to the relevant authorities for action.xc2xb7 Maintain a backlog register for Operations and Maintenance Schedules.xc2xb7 Analyse unplanned downtime and work on preventative plans with Maintenance Manager.xc2xb7 Analyse Operational performance and work preventative measures with Operations Manager.xc2xb7 Effectively manage documentation and data control.xc2xb7 Generate regular month end reports and KPI Reports with regards to the performance, availability and reliability of the Plant.xc2xb7 Ensure sustainability and effective utilisation of OEE management system.xc2xb7 Proactively manage communication and relationships with clients.xc2xb7 Develop detailed work packages in the CMMS system.xc2xb7 Analyse and screen corrective maintenance (CM) work orders and burning maintenance issues for opportunities to perform root cause failure analysis to prevent future failures.xc2xb7 Manage and execute Planned and Unpanned outages and, maintenance work orders.xc2xb7 Attend to procedural and equipment issues that arise and require engineering evaluation and direction to improve specific procedures.xc2xb7 Compile periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually) to ensure Facilities Management Leadership has up-to-date information for decision making.xc2xb7 Coordinate the compilation of detailed operations and maintenance tasks.xc2xb7 Chairs and follow up on daily progress meeting.xc2xb7 Perform all reasonable duties required within the scope of this position in order to achieve company objectives.xc2xb7 Comply with industry health, safety and environmental working practices and regulations.QUALIFICATIONS:xc2xb7 Minimum National Diploma in Engineering Electrical/Mechanical or Technical qualificationxc2xb7 Qualification in Project Management / Planningxc2xb7 Plus, Red Seal Trade qualification advantageousEXPERIENCE:xc2xb7 Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar positionxc2xb7 Operations and Maintenance management experiencexc2xb7 General management experiencexc2xb7 Planning and related Proficient skills in applying business improvement techniquesxc2xb7 Advanced skills in MS Projectsxc2xb7 Excellent scheduling and resources management skillsxc2xb7 Advanced skills in MS Office and Excelxc2xb7 Must be technically minded, and capable of introducing new ideasxc2xb7 Background in Power Station and Biomass Plant operation and maintenancexc2xb7 Strong engineering technical background on different equipmentxc2xb7 Previous experience with a CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system)
