• National Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Qualification
• Experience as a maintenance planner / coordinator will be an advantage
• Be able to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication skills
• A good knowledge of all relevant legislation that impacts on the operations and HSEQ functions, e.g. OHS-Act and all SANS Regulations impacting on the LPG Industry (would be an advantage)

Activities

• Schedule corrective maintenance for customers and Totalgaz depots
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfUpdate Totalgaz depots and customers maintenance plan as required
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfCoordinating maintenance breakdowns and projects with Totalgaz technicians and contractors.
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfAssist with the monitoring and reporting of maintenance expenditure.
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfDevelop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfAssist with purchasing of necessary parts, equipment, services and raise the orders in SAP/Optima for approval.
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfApply good stores (and parts) management practices to ensure the required level of critical equipment is maintained and that parts for equipment retain full reliability when stored.
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfEnsure that the weekly schedule of the technicians are in line with the maintenance objectives
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfMaintain all maintenance performance KPI's on a monthly basis.
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfEnsure that all customer and depot compliance certificates/reports are up to date and correctly documented.
• xefxbbxbfxefxbbxbfInputs and maintains the master data on SAP PM (Functional Locations, Materials, Equipment).
• xefxbbxbfMaintain customer and depot asset database to ensure inventory lists are correct and updated

Additional InformationPurposesPress space or enter keys to toggle section visibilityThe incumbent reports to the Maintenance Manager of Totalgaz Southern Africa and is responsible for assisting with the Development and monitoring of a reliable maintenance strategy, based on preventative and predictive maintenance systems.The main areas of responsibility include the following:

• Ensuring compliance with the OHS Act and SANS regulations to all company depots, distributors and customer installations.
• Ensure a good customer relationship is maintained and to exceed customer expectation where applicable.
• Assist with the continabus improvement of the maintenance system.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of all new and refurbished equipment and that the relevant documentation are accompanied by all equipment installed

• Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines, and legal requirements within area of responsibility.
• Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE PI`s and risk reduction strategies

• Ensure that HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibility
