Job Description

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler to join a prominent mining company in the Northern Cape. As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities in the mining industry.Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for plant equipment and facilities
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance activities
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and schedule corrective maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities
• Track and report on maintenance performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with the maintenance planning team to optimize resource allocation and reduce downtime

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in maintenance scheduling within the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and scheduling software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
