• Matric or equivalent to NQF 4
• Trade Test certificate
• 3 years' post trade experience
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
• Experience in a food manufacturing industry will be advantageous

• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment
• High-tech aptitude
• Fault finding
• Prioritize tasks effectively
• Time management
• Ability to work under pressure
• Critical thinking
• Manual dexterity

• Daily routine inspections
• Repairs and maintenance of machinery
• Perform scheduled routine preventative maintenance and services
• Diagnose root cause of mechanical malfunctions and repair
• Stock control of parts required for maintenance
• Reporting of low levels to the Maintenance Manager
