The Role

What is the role?

We are looking for a

Management Accountant

to join our growing team in CPT.

What you will be exposed to:

Monthly accounting

and processing for a portfolio of SMEs.

Payroll

processing via Simple Pay. Legislative processing (i.e All SARS types of returns -

VAT, PAYE, ITR

) Engaging with clients and solving accounting problems. Communicating with clients on accounting needs and processing.

Building strong client relationships

Provisional Tax calculations

and discussions with clients. Adhoc accounting

project work

, queries, and advice as requested from clients. Providing

financial management

support to SMEs.

What do you need to have?

Be someone who wants to learn and is willing to take on new challenges. This will suit someone who enjoys the idea of working with Startups and Small businesses. Someone who wants to learn and grow and has a good knowledge of working on computers and the ability to learn various software packages. You are on track to attain your,

CGMA, or Professional Accountant (SA), with completed articles.

Degree/Honours Degree in

Management Accounting or Accounting.

Experience in cloud base systems such as

XERO, Dext/Hubdoc, SimplePay, Dear Systems, Vend

. Experience in drafting Annual Financial Statements on

CaseWare or DraftWorx

Experience in a

client-facing role

* 3-5 years experience in an accounting-related role.
