Job SummaryDescriptionHire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their reputable company within the Construction Industry in Tanzania. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and providing support to senior management in making informed business decisions. You will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights on budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis specific to the construction industry.Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for construction projects
• Monitor and evaluate project financial performance
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making
• Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations
• Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
• Prepare financial statements and analysis for management and shareholders
• Conduct financial audits and implement internal controls
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for construction projects
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Relevant certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is a plus
