Seeking a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join my clients finance team. As a Management Accountant specializing in the insurance and financial services sector, you will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making.Duties:

• Full set of management accounts to group
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess the financial performance of various business segments and initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of new products, pricing strategies, and business initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and other financial reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the business.
• Provide financial guidance and support to departmental managers and executives to facilitate informed decision-making.

Qualifications & skills:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field;
• 6+ years of experience in management accounting, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
