Join our client as a Management Accountant and play a pivotal role in their finance team.A prominent South African company involved in the fields of engineering, information and communication technologies. Founded in 1880s, this group has established itself as a leader in various sectors, contributing significantly to the country's industrial and technological landscape.This individual will manage the monthly management accounts and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes for the Group. This position reports directly to the Senior Management Accountant and is based Johannesburg.If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on an exciting challenge, we want to hear from you! • Prepare monthly flash reporting.
• Analyze major variances to budget and prior periods, providing insightful commentary.
• Compile monthly business unit reporting packs for the Group CEO and CFO.
• Consolidate Group monthly management accounts and latest forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for the annual year-end audit.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting or Finance
• B Com (Hons)
• CIMA completed

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant Management Accounting experience.
• Experience in a JSE listed entity or a Group company.
• Previous exposure to a consolidation/reporting system (OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
