Job Description


Manage and supervise and valuation of buildings for rating, insurance standing and replacement
cost purposes.
Key Responsibility AreasSupervise and approve the valuation of buildings.
Conduct investigations and negotiations of an unusual or complex nature.
To supervise staff.
To manage the maintenance of data and information.
Undertake the management of projects.
Prepare/approve reports, correspondence.
Assist client departments.
Endorsing or approval vouchers for the payment of professional fees.
Attend to more complex queries at the public counter and those received telephonically.
Liaising with communitys representatives, Public and Private sector representatives.
Instruct and manage consultant valuers.
Represent the Senior Manager.
Attend Departmental meetings.
Undertake related assignments.

Essential RequirementsTertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Real Estate (Property Valuation) or any other related and equivalent qualification accredited by the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession.
Registration with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession as a Professional Valuer.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
5 years relevant experience of which 4 years must be as a Professional Valuer.
Preferred RequirementsTertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Real Estate (Property Valuation) or any other related and equivalent qualification accredited by the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession.
6 years relevant experience of which 5 years must be as a Professional Valuer.
