Job Description


Requirements:

  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Supply Chain or Logistic Management
  • 5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Airline and Freight industry
  • 3 Yearsxe2x80x99 Key Account Management experience
  • Effective knowledge of South African Civil Aviation Regulations (SACARs), Basic Conditions of Employment Act, health and Safety Act and other regulatory requirements applicable to the work environment
  • Cost, revenue and cash management including date and financial analytics
Key Responsibilities:Contract and rate negotiations
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Draft Service Level Agreements by consulting with customers and internal stakeholders to give effect to the customerxe2x80x99s requirements within the capabilities of the company's Operations.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Inform the relevant departments of requirements of the customer contracts to adhere to contractual obligations.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Monitor expiry dates of contacts to extend, renew or add additional information by way of addendum to the contracts where required.Business Development
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Obtain extensive knowledge of customer requirements within the market through relationships within the market to aid in decision making.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Grow existing customer base by offering customers various solutions.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Offer value-added service offering to aid in customer growth.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Keep customer informed of new developments in terms of flight availability, routes and service offering.Revenue growth and revenue targets
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Develop and maintain pricing structures to achieve the highest yield without jeopardising break-even volume.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Identify and implement new service offerings to aid in revenue growth.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Implement revenue targets.
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Reviews and report on targets by comparing actual versus target revenueCustomer retention and acquisition
xc3xa2xc2x9exc2xa2 Retain existing customers by maintaining a professional working relationship
