Job Description


Job Purpose:To manage and optimize marketing campaigns from concept to deployment across multiple channels. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution, contributing to Direct Marketing communication strategies through innovative design, targeting, segmentation, personalization, testing, analysis, and optimization. Furthermore, coordinating campaign activities to enhance ROI, leveraging customer data to maximize campaign response, and reporting on campaign and data initiatives to stakeholders is essential.Key Objectives:1. Campaign Management

  • Ensure all marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking, and measurement of marketing direct customer campaigns.
  • Project manage all direct marketing campaigns from beginning to end ensuring they meet the target objectives.
2. Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with the rest of the marketing team on campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal parties like Salesforce Centre of Excellence, Data Analysts, and manage Campaign Specialist/s and Journey Builder to deliver campaigns.
3. Innovation & Testing
  • Test campaigns to trial new ideas for effectiveness.
4. Data & Evaluation
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results and evaluation of KPIs
  • Work closely with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Specialist to identify the best use of customer data requirements that maximise campaign response, interpret and report back to key stakeholders on all campaign and data initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaign strategies and identify gaps and opportunities to improve customer experience
5. Brand Consistency
  • Ensure that Ackermans brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all direct communication channels.

Experience Required:Essential:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in digital and direct marketing.
  • Expertise in process management with the ability to streamline workflows
Preferred:
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience would be an advantage

Qualifications Required:Essential:
  • A Grade 12 Certificate / Matric
  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, business or related field
Preferred:
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
