Manager: IT Programme Management Office (24-Month Fixed-Term Contract)Location: Pretoria, GautengA highly reputable financial governing concern is seeking to appoint a Manager: IT Programme Management Office on a 24-month fixed-term contract basis.Position Overview:The incumbent of this position will be expected to support the Business Executive to deliver business transformation and operational projects in ICT BU successfully.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implementing leading practices in the project management office (PMO).
- Acquiring and/or reskilling resource in the PMO for successfully delivery of projects.
- Establishing effective project governance structures.
- Facilitates the implementation of the BU strategic plan.
- Responsible for relationship management.
- Management the output of the entire ICT business.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent NQF 7 qualification.
- Project Management knowledge and skill.
- Professional Certification - Prince 2 and/or PMBOK .
- ITIL and COBIT Certification required.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant Project and Program Management experience, including 5 plus years of experience in managing staff.
- Extensive experience in leading Project Management and Reporting Tools, including PowerPoint and MS Project.
- Experience in developing functional and business plans to support the Business Unit strategy.
- Ability to provide thought leadership based on research and leading practices.
- One must be available and willing to commit to a 24-month FTC term.
