? The branch manager's responsibilities are: 1) Achieving the financial targets and requirements. 2) Implementing and maintaining Payment control systems. 3) Ensuring, by assessing, monitoring, and maintaining, superior workmanship (no comebacks). 4) Building and maintaining good relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff. ? Book in customers' cars and/or supervise receptionist to book in cars and establish a good healthy relationship with all customers and suppliers ? A key note is make sure every customer leaves the branch happy ? Ensure that logbooks are up-to-date and correct (i.e. driver name, date and time, place travelled to and from) - if proper paperwork is not kept in terms hereof, it will be deemed as if the Manager drove the vehicle in question. ? Never argue with customers and avoid any confrontations by all means ? Never abuse, in any shape or form, staff, suppliers ? Managers are expected to take a proactive role in obtaining new business, eg, visit Companies with large fleets, dealers, schools, hospitals and other companies that are related or similar to our business. At least 1 meeting/company per week.
