Purpose of the Job:

As a Manager P&C Enabling Functions you will contribute to the development of human resources strategy. In line with the affiliate P&C and organization development strategies and together with the Director P&C and the Functional Management Team you will plan, develop, deploy and manage P&C products, practices and solutions that follow business strategy and strengthen organisation culture in the Function(s). Actively participate in providing line management and the P&C community with a high quality support needed to plan, acquire, develop and retain a highly qualified, performing and engaged workforce.

P&C STRATEGY & DEPLOYMENT OF P&C PRACTICES FOR BUSINESS SUPPORT:

Together with P&C Director ensure and contribute to the implementation of P&C strategies and aligning them to local requirements and business needs as well as gather business requirements and strategies from the Function(s) in order to support the development of appropriate P&C strategies. Analyze current and future organizational and business needs for the Function(s) using relevant P&C processes and tools like Budget process, Surveys, Perfromance Management & Talent Review Processes etc. Analyze P&C products, services and data available to drive alignment across the functions and to advise solutions by adapting global / affiliate programs. Co-operate with the other P&C Centers of Excellence (e.g. Labour Relations, Organization Effectiveness, People Engagement, Integrated Talent Management and Product & Employee Delivery teams) in order to identify, share, customize and implement the best ideas to support the business.

Talent management & organizational capabilities:

Manage Performance Management & Talent processes to ensure qualitative PMI Talent Management and workforce planning to build high performing teams. Implement and assess effectiveness of the talent development initiatives to ensure a strong succession pipeline. Continuously follow up and monitor the consistency of top talent progress and development in the Function(s), advice and coach line managers on this subject. Ensure relevant contribution into the analysis of organizational resources in respect of current and future skills and competencies requirements, availability of potential in the Function(s) and provide support in identification of required actions in order to improve organizational capability and employees' potential. Provide further support (in terms of counselling, coaching) in realization of these actions, where required.

Resourcing & employer branding:

Ensure timely Functional Talent Acquisition delivery service that meet line management's needs for quantity, skills and potential. Based on the Function(s) business need and following the affiliate Talent strategies. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition delivery team to compile Functional Hiring and Employer Branding Plans. Analyse effectiveness, propose and implement improvement plans.

Participate in the EE & Skills development Committee and contribute to the companies' plans in relation to Employment Equity, Inclusion & Diversity initiatives.

Monitor implementation and encourage usage of the compensation and benefits policies and tools in the Function(s) ensuring they are used to attract, retain, promote and motivate employees. Enhance and increase the level of line management understanding of the C&B principles and practices and ensure the consistency (employee moves, relocations, etc.) of the approaches across the Function(s). Monitor and feedback on effectiveness of the C&B programs and tools in the Function(s) and propose improvement solutions to them.

Change management& employee relations

Ensure that the change management process in the Function(s) is put in place and implemented according to the Function(s) plan and is in line with the affiliate strategy to increase the employee engagement. Closely assess organization progress through Surveys by facilitation, results analysis, developing and implementing action plans. Establish communication platforms for building and maintaining effective relationship between employees and management in alignment with business strategy.

Capability Development:

Ensure a high level of awareness and effectiveness of the people management processes by analyzing needs and providing solutions / coaching / training programs as needed. Analyze training and communication needs on the P&C processes in the Function(s) and ensure implementation and delivery of the annual training plan. Review, adapt and customize specific training programmes in collaboration with Integration Talent Management department based on the internal customers' needs.




Legislation & HR reporting:

Ensure that recruitment, hiring, employees' moves and departures are managed in line with the labour legislation and PMI practices and principles. Manage and analyse P&C monthly reporting (Dashboard, HC reporting, etc.), propose and implement improvements. Support Ethics & Compliance Function in conducting interviews and investigations in the Function(s). Consult, advise and support line managers in cases related to the employment (hiring, rewarding, developing, terminations, disciplinary cases etc.) Represent the employer at CCMA hearings where required.

Who we are looking for:

Degree in Human Resources or equivilent 8+ years of work experience in HR. 5+ years of work experience as HR Generalist and/or Specialist + 5 years in Labour relations Knowledge of local Labour Law Talent Acquisition Processes and Practices Compensation and Benefits Employment Equity and Skills Development
