Job Description


Manages the key performance areas and outcomes relating to the creation of the
Service Delivery Budget Implementation Plan for the upcoming fiscal year, development
of the Mid-Year Amendments (MYA), development of the individual performance plans
for the upcoming fiscal year.This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (PERFOMANCE MONITORING EVALUATION AND
REPORTING)
Key Responsibility Areas

  • Facilitates the development of the new financial years Annually Service Delivery
Budget
  • Implementation Plan.
  • Facilitates the development of the Mid-Year Amendments (MYA).
  • Provides guidance in planning process for the evaluation studies.
  • Manage the implementation of a monitoring system.
  • Manage the implementation of an evaluation system.
  • Facilitates the development of an improvement plan.
  • Facilitates the development of Individual Performance Plans for the new
financial year.
  • Co-ordinates the implementation of the individual performance management
framework for Section 54A and 56 employees, and employees on the executive
payroll.
  • Coordinates the Individual Performance Assessments for the new financial year.
  • Facilitates unit/clusters contribution to the Annual Report process.
  • Critically assesses and makes or recommends innovative improvements to
existing processes and electronic systems.
  • Provides performance information and reports to Auditor General.
  • Supports financial prescripts in relation to the utilisation of allocated budget.
  • Applies specialized techniques to make determinations on the effectiveness of
actions to limit or eliminate risks.
  • Control outcomes associated with utilisation and performance of personnel
within the function.
  • Leads capacity building initiatives that promotes effective M&E.
  • Manages the storage of monitoring and evaluation data.
  • Provides M&E technical support.

Essential Requirements
  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration or Financial Management or
Operations Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 4 Years relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
  • Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration or Financial Management or
Operations Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Project Management certificate.
  • 6 Years relevant experience.
