Manager: Postgraduate Funding (Grade 15)Research OfficeThe Research Office invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.Main ObjectivesThe Manager: Postgraduate Funding assists the Director: Research Office by managing all Postgraduate Funding (Scholarships, Bursaries & Loans) through the processes and budgets available. A key component of the position involves developing and managing external funders and donors and attracting and retaining funders and donors so that Postgraduate students can be more fully supported.The RequirementsA Postgraduate Degree (NQF level 8) and approximately 5 years relevant experience where such experience includes:

• Experience in funding management, including financial controls and financial planning
• Previous experience in working with computerised accounts and setting up computerized and administrative systems and processes
• Management of large datasets
• Experience in working with funders and donors
• Experience supervising/managing others
• Previous experience in a higher-education environment is essential.
