Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' businesses, providing timely and relevant insights to support informed decision-making.
Cultivate and maintain a network of professional contacts within the business community to facilitate client introductions and identify new growth opportunities.
Contribute to the development and refinement of departmental strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance overall portfolio performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum NQF7 qualification in Business Commerce
FAIS competency certification
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a client-facing sales role, preferably within the banking sector
Demonstrated expertise in managing portfolios within the entrepreneurial environment
Proven track record in understanding business operations, risk assessment, and financial requirements pertaining to the entrepreneur market
Prior experience as an Account Analyst or in a Relationship Management role, with responsibility for servicing business customers and preparing credit applications
Preferred Experience:
Background in agricultural finance and operations
Key Competencies:
In-depth understanding of business risks and industry-specific challenges
Proficiency in financial analysis and credit assessment
Strong relationship management and client retention skills
Ability to provide high-end, differentiated service and value-adding solutions
