Job Description


To manage the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the
provision of professional and administrative support to the City Integrity and
Investigations Unit.This post reports to HEAD (CITY INTEGRITY & INVESTIGATIONS)
Key Responsibility Areas

  • Identifies and defines the immediate, short- and long-term objectives/ plans
associated with the provision of administrative and support service to City
integrity and Investigations unit.
  • Manages and control outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and
performance of personnel within the department.
  • Manages the implementation of financial controls and procedures in relation to
the Units financial provisioning in terms of capital and operating expenditures
estimation, monitoring, and distribution.
  • Manages, oversees and guides the Units procurement processes.
  • Manages and oversees the Units asset.
  • Manages and control the procedural and operational processes associated with
the provision of the office and general support services, monitors the quality of
the service delivery.
  • Manages the implementation of procedures and systems associated with
controlling document flow and regulated record keeping.
  • Producing and editing documents as requested by Executive management within
the Unit.
  • Disseminates functional and operational information on the immediate, shortand long-term objectives.

Essential Requirements
  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration or Public Management
or Business Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license
  • 6 years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at a supervisory level
  • Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration or Public Management
or Business Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
  • 7 Years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level.
