OUTLINE
OVERVIEW:
Develop, manage, plan, and oversee implementation of strategies, programmes and policies for sourcing, attracting, advertising, interviewing and placement of talent in the entity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a Talent Sourcing and Attraction Strategy and associated tactical initiatives for the company, develop and maintain policies, SOPs to effect the implementation of the Companys sourcing strategy and ensure that these adhere to South African legislation, develop the Company Human Resource Plans which outlines forecasted future talent needs and the associated sourcing strategies, manage individual and team performance. Develop and manage recruitment and selection strategies and policies in line with current legislation and company strategy, guide both human resource and line management in ensuring that hiring decision are made in line with company policies in particular the Diversity and Transformation policy, facilitate the training of line managers and HR in interviewing skills, conduct post recruitment satisfaction surveys with newly appointed employees. Develop and monitor performance against recruitment metrics e.g. time-to-fill, vacancy tracing register, identify and implement solutions to manage recruitment turnaround time and vacancy backlogs, report on vacancy statistics and recruitment processes in general, in the monthly, quarterly, annual and on an ad-hoc basis, developing and providing recruitment analytics to support the business in its recruitment efforts. Provide budgetary inputs for mid-term budget reviews, compile, monitor and control the allocated Recruitment budget, ensure that expenditure is within the approved budget, present contract reports and extensions to Bid Committees as per Supply Chain Management Procedures. Serve in OHS and SCM bid committees as when required. Develop and implement candidate background check programme and venting processes, periodically validate all assessment tools/techniques including driving tagging is fair, valid, and reliable.
