Our client is searching for a Mandarin speaking Legal Intern to support Healthcare Consultant and Patient Contracting. This role requires excellent administrative skills and proficiency with technology used in the life sciences industry. The Mandarin speaking Legal Intern will handle client initiatives and compliance through contract management, ensuring accurate data exchange between authorized sources and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, deadline-focused, and able to manage multiple complex engagements simultaneously.Your key job responsibilities as the Mandarin speaking Legal Intern in Cape Town will include:

• Coordinate information collection from Health Care Professionals (HCP) and Patient Consultants; review provided documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect banking and tax documents, ensuring they are complete.
• Conduct Exclusion/Debarment checks using the client's system and prepare necessary escalation documents if required.
• Draft and send HCP and Patient contracts using approved templates through Icertis iFrame; follow up on agreements with reminders and progress tracking.
• Handle invoicing and collection of out-of-pocket documentation when necessary.
• Process payment requests.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and client information.

Requirements for this Mandarin speaking Legal Intern job in Cape Town:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, such as paralegal or legal secretary.
• Proficient in using technology software and platforms (e.g., Word, SAP).
• Fully remote or hybrid work options available.
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills, allowing for both independent and collaborative work.
