Manufacturing Manager AXXIS - GautengFull job descriptionOverviewThe main purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient, cost-effective and profitable managementof the AXXIS equipment facility whereby ensuring that regular teamfeedback sessions are held, all AXXIS products are produced,maintained and supplied to the customer at the required qualitystandards and produced in a safe environment in order to achieve BME's strategic imperatives.QualificationsProduction Management Diploma and or Commercial DegreeExperience7 years demonstrated manufacturing experience in an electronic equipment manufacturing environment.5 years demonstrated management experience.5 years demonstrated experience in managing quality assurance within an electronic equipment manufacturing environment.DutiesProduction qualityTo manage daily KPIs by effectively managing inventory to set standards and focusing on a quality production facility versus pre-determinedproduction targets according to business policies and procedures.To achieve pre-determined Manufacturing Excellence Charter ratings by managing effective and efficient use of resources, budgets and assetsAllocated to the manufacturing department.To ensure scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment, assets and materials, supported with accurate maintenance records to ensureequipment is always in a good functional state with adherence to SHERQ standards and requirements.To establish and ensure that all production and manufacturing standards, practices and controls are strictly adhered to, to ensure the best qualityfinished product and maintenance possible according to business policies and procedures.To manage all aspects of human capital through the HR value chain and in accordance to legislation.
