Manufacturing Production Manager - KZNFull job descriptionLiving Well Interiors is a handmade rug and home decor company. We specialize in creating high-quality, handcrafted items, such as mohair rugs, and have a boutique sewing shop on-site where we produce a variety of other products. We are seeking a manufacturing production manager with a love for interior design to join our team and oversee our manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facilities- Ensure timely delivery of orders- Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules and deadlines- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials to ensure uninterrupted production- Manage and train staff, set goals and objectives, and provide performance feedback- Maintain quality standards and ensure proper equipment maintenance- Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate procurement contracts- Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve efficiency and productivity- Collaborate with other departments to promote teamwork and communicationRequirements:- degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or related field- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations with a proven track record of success- Strong leadership and management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Proficient in using production management software- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies- Strong analytical skills to identify areas for process improvement- Ability to work under pressure and multitaskIf you have a passion for manufacturing and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you!
