Job Description


An exciting opportunity has become available within the medical device industry, for a Manufacturing Technician based in Cape Town.REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • 0 - 2 years' experience in medical devices manufacturing
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under a deadline
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assembly
o Support and improve the production process through device assemblyo Execute assembly of components with precision to ensure a workable producto Develop mastery on the equipment and production processo Execute and coordinate equipment, process and product validation activitieso Adhere to production process protocol, work instruction and process improvement changeso Perform work in a safe manner, notifying management of safety issues and risks
  • Maintenance
o Perform equipment sterilizationo Conduct/assist with equipment calibrationo Inspect component qualityo Maintain a clean room environment according to regulatory requirementso Meet and maintain training requirementso Maintain proper documentation for quality and compliance matters
