Purpose of the Job
Marketing of animal feed and animal care products within the selected area of operation in order to achieve sales growth, targeted market share and enhance client satisfaction.Responsibilities:Protect and Grow Market Share
xc2xb7Compile the marketing plan.
xc2xb7Conduct market research and gather market intelligence.
xc2xb7Analyse current market share.Nurture Relationships with all Stakeholders
xc2xb7Ensure excellent relations between suppliers, Hinterland managers and credit managers.
xc2xb7Act as liaise with Hinterland and Credit managers on a continuous basis.
xc2xb7Communicate discounts and price structures and review, when necessary, with Category lead: Animal Care.Market the Competitive Products and Service Offering
xc2xb7Ensure added value and improve comfortable access to services and products.
xc2xb7Provide solutions to livestock farmers acting as liaise with supplier representatives.
xc2xb7Sell animal care products and animal feeds to selected customers.
xc2xb7Provide information about competitive prices, discounts and quality of suppliers to customers.Compile and Monitor Financial Targets
xc2xb7Provide Animal feed and animal care products in the compilation of budget in accordance to guidelines.
xc2xb7Analyse income and report on variancesRequirements:
xc2xb7 Diploma or Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Agricultural science or equivalent tertiary qualification
xc2xb7Knowledge of livestock farming, or animal feed / animal care product sales.
