Senwes Equipment is looking for a Marketer: Construction and Forestry responsible to assist in optimizing market share and executing strategies to promote C&F equipment, contributing to our growth within the agricultural sector. You will gain hands-on experience in marketing, including market research, content creation, campaign execution, and customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Compile the annual budget and monitor progress against it.
Prepare financial forecasts and manage the budget to achieve financial targets.
Oversee sales logistics, admin, delivery reports, and accounting processes.
Conduct research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies. Analyze data to assess marketing effectiveness and provide insights for improvements
Assist in creating marketing materials (e.g., product descriptions, brochures), support digital marketing (social media, online ads), and help organize events. Use analytics tools to optimize campaigns.
Engage with customers via surveys, feedback, and inquiries, ensuring all communication is professional and positive.
Stay updated on industry trends and marketing best practices, attending training and workshops to enhance your skills and product knowledge.
As a Marketer, you will assist in maintaining existing markets and expanding into new ones by supporting the organization of:
Farmers' Days
Customer Clinics
Product Demonstrations
Information Days and Presentations
Individual or Group Customer Visits
Advertising and Merchandising Efforts
Manage stock forecasting, supply chain logistics, and relevant market information.
Conduct stock counts, arrange internal transfers, and ensure stock quality and logistics are handled efficiently.
National Senior Certificate
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field would be beneficial
At least 5 years of Relevant sales and marketring experience in agricultural or construction equipment marketing and sales.
A valid driver's license is essential. SAP, MS Office, and relevant agricultural business knowledge.
Understanding of customer service, financing principles, marketing, and sales.
Knowledge of product specifics, supplier policies, and relevant legislation.
Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
Ability to negotiate, manage time effectively, and handle conflict.
Familiarity with the agricultural industry or equipment is a plus.
