Job Description

Afrirent Holdings is looking for a dynamic Marketing Administrator to join the team. The individual will provide dedicated and professional administrative assistance to ensure the smooth and efficient activities and operations of the Department. This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders, arranging and scheduling meetings and events

Duties will include, but is not limited to:

Schedules appointments/meetings and maintains the daily calendars of the team and actions all changes and reminders Maintains an electronic record of important correspondence and handles all correspondence according to approved procedures Coordinates all logistics and travel requirements for meetings Maintains an effective and updated filing system which allows for easy access and retrieval of information Coordinates the effective executive and delivery of marketing projects and campaigns Responds to basic enquiries and escalates to the relevant team member where necessary Posts social media content, monitors and reports on social media engagements Distributes and / or creates marketing materials such as presentations, brochures and promotional items Coordinates the logistical arrangements for marketing events, trade shows and conferences including venue bookings, travel arrangements and shipping of materials Maintains and updates marketing databases including contact lists, customer records and campaign data Maintains optimum levels of departmental stationery, marketing material, promotional items, corporate gifts and corporate stationery Liaises with agencies, internal and other external stakeholders to follow up on submissions and obtain updates Updates and coordinates project schedules, calendars, stakeholder databases and other information required for marketing projects such as photoshoots, production, roadshows and events Sources and coordinates information required for marketing activities and elements including content, photos and footage Compiles and collates all relevant information and supporting documentation and submits for payment processing

Requirements:



Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in Marketing Administration Experience in an administrative function in a marketing department. Degree/Diploma in Marketing Communications, Business, or a related field.

Knowledge:



Familiarity with marketing strategies and tactics across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising. Knowledge of marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools. Understanding of basic graphic design principles and experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Awareness of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape in the industry. Ability to interpret and analyse marketing data to inform decision-making and measure campaign effectiveness. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proficiency in using office productivity software. Understanding of administrative processes and procedures, including scheduling, filing, and record-keeping.

Creativity and innovation to contribute ideas and suggestions for improving marketing processes and initiatives Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with marketing software and tools. Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
